Delivering comprehensive care, we offer an array of behavioral health services.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program in PBH was developed to provide comprehensive, concentrated, and time-sensitive intensive outpatient treatment to the Phoeniz and XXXXXX areas. The program is available to all adults recovering from mental health or substance abuse and are in need of a supportive, empathetic environment. During the program, patients are encouraged to build healthy coping and recovery skills while receiving education about their underlying mental health concerns.
The IOP program is led by a team of licensed mental health professionals dedicated to the success and growth of our patients. Upon an initial mental health assessment, patients will work in tandem with their treatment team, which can include psychologists, registered nurses, therapists, and counselors. Patients will regularly meet with members of their team to determine, further evaluate, and assess their recovery goals. Upon completion of the program, the patient will meet with their team to receive referrals to mental health services available within their community.
Our mental health professionals are knowledgeable in a range of mental health disorders and topics, including:
The PBH Clinic IOP program is built upon of a foundation of evidence-based psychiatric care that includes group therapy, community resources, and mental health education.
IOP group therapy is designed to help patients build tools and principles of recovery as a significant step down from inpatient care or partial hospitalization, or as part of a much-needed support network. Individuals learn about mental health, substance use and abuse, and how to cope with life’s daily stressors. Group topics include relapse prevention, warning signs, understanding emotions, and building self-esteem. PBH Clinic helps you find the right mental health support group for your needs. Don't hesitate to ask for help.
Topics discussed in intensive outpatient therapy groups can also include:
We regularly involve cognitive and behavior therapies (CBT) in our IOP program. The benefits of CBT have been demonstrated for a wide range of symptoms in adults.
Unlike inpatient programs, IOP allows participants to engage in intensive group therapy three times per week, leaving ample time to maintain school and work responsibilities or to return to their residence in the evening.
